Yes, I know we haven’t posted in 6 months!  These last few months have been very busy for all of us in the warren – rabbit and human.  In September we moved to a new apartment and Rory and Hunny love it here.   Today is an important day as it is the 1st anniversary of their adoption!   The last 12 months have been wonderful getting to know our bunnies.   Some people like to call them our children but I always deny it…these rabbits are my friends.  And this year Kristen and I can say they’ve become our best friends.   So since we haven’t posted  for months, we’d like to leave you this year with 243  photos we’ve been meaning to post since our last entry.  Enjoy the photos and have a Happy New Year!

Kristen gave the bunnies some blue berries. Then they went nuts hopping around everywhere.   Also you can see the first photos of Rory grooming me which is a nightly occurence.

Everyday with these bunnies is educational.  We are starting to see more of their personalities.  They are discovering more ways to have fun in the house and thankfully most of it is non-desctructive!   Now they have decided they want to hop up onto the furniture and sit like people.  And occasionally displacing the people… 

The bunnies are really starting to play and explore the house.  I think they like it here! 

Being the clever animals they are it wasn’t long before the bunnies figured out where their food comes from.

Rory regularly runs into the kitchen on a nightly basis. Occasionally he will sit in front of the fridge and beg for food.

Hunny on the other hand doesn’t spend more than a minute or two in the kitchen.  She is actually quite afraid of the sounds of cooking (particularly sizzling sounds), leading us to believe her previous owners may have traumatized her in some way.  Perhaps a friend of hers was cooked and eaten? Maybe she was threatened with a 1-way trip to the kitchen?   If a meal is being prepared she will run back into the safety of Rabbit Castle.
